I'm Ellie, mother of two boys and living in South Derbyshire. I am a mentored doula and I am passionate about parents receiving the support that they need from the very beginning and into the early years.
I am a breastfeeding peer supporter with personal experience in tandem feeding and I love wearing both of my boys in a carrier. I have had a great range of experiences during my own parenting journey, from a hospital birth to a home birth, combi-feeding and exclusively breastfeeding. Ultimately I can relate to navigating through the unknown territories of becoming parents, especially as I am still in the thick of it!
As your doula I will be a consistent presence to support and nurture you throughout your pregnancy, birth and postpartum period. I will help you emotionally, practically and informationally to empower and inform yourself to make the decisions that are right for you.

Pregnancy Support
From the first trimester to the last, I offer emotional and informational support to help you feel confident and prepared for the arrival of your little one(s).
Birth Support
I will support and encourage you to prepare for the birth you want and I will be the gatekeeper of your birth preferences. I will be by your side throughout your labour whether that is at home or in hospital, vaginal birth or c-section.
Postpartum Support
Recovering from birth and adjusting to life with a newborn can be challenging. I offer personalised postpartum support to help you navigate this new chapter with confidence. I truly believe that consistent support in those early weeks and months can make the world of difference to how you experience them.
